Word in advance: If I have things mispeled, I'm sory. Not realy my fault at the moment.
A moment ago I had my laptop on the bed, stretched out. My leg was aparently on the keyboard. When I loked up, I saw a brief mesage on the scren. However, al I saw was 'filter' before the mesage left. Since, every key makes a ping-like sound, and I can't pres any key in rapid sucesion (hence, al the mispelings). I have to wait several seconds before presing the key again. Its for al keys, leters, symbols, enter, backspace.
Searching Gogle didn't help much, I'm not sure I'm entering a corect description. Any idea of what I did and how to fix it? Its very anoying.

| If it is 7 then this should work: Click Start > Control Panel > click "Ease of Access" > click "Change how your keyboard works" > uncheck the box next to "Turn on Filter Keys". If you don't have the "ease of access" option, it's not Windows 7  |

| You should be able to also get to the ease of access center if you hold down Shift, Control or Alt for an extended period of time. ( More then 8 seconds If memory serves me right to get it to pop up ) If it doesn't pop up, it may be because you have that option turned off. I sometimes hesitate when I am typing so I may end up holding shift for awhile. It's annoying to have the filter turned on.   |
