In HTML, colours are represented by three groups of numbers from 0 to 255. These numbers are represented in hexadecimal format, so that the entire colour is 6 digits long. In hexadecimal, the digits used include the letters A-F, so a hex colour could, in theory, be an English word.
As far as I know, there are only ten English words that are complete hex colours.
#ACCEDE
#BEADED
#BEDDED
#BEEFED
#DABBED
#DECADE
#DEEDED
#DEFACE
#EFFACE
#FACADE
I thought it was interesting, and figured I'd share with you guys. Of course, I had to look and see what each hex looked like on a pony. In alphabetical order:
ACCEDE
BEADED
BEDDED
BEEFED
DABBED
DECADE
DEEDED
DEFACE
EFFACE
FACADE
They're lovely, aren't they? So do any of you have a pony with a word hex?
